The Electrical / Mechanical Rigup Technician II is responsible for adding value to our industrial and petroleum engine sales by adding customer specific enhancements to their engines electrical systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work with little direct supervision to assist in the assembly process.
  • Be able to offer solutions on problem solving.
  • Consult with supervisor with justifications for actions.
  • Learn package assembly process for oilfield and/or related type equipment.
  • Operate all assembly tooling independently.
  • Document all repairs, testing and assembly upon their completion.
  • Operate forklifts as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to two years’ engine experience a plus.
  • Electrical and mechanical tooling.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Ability to draw simple electrical schematics.
  • Electrical knowledge of components, controls and of their functions.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and at times produce written instructions.
  • Wiring knowledge for batteries, alternators and control circuits both 12 and 24 volt.
  • Basic fundamentals of tubing and screw piping a plus

The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
