Peterson Cat has an immediate need for an Equipment Data Analyst who can be located at either our San Leandro, CA or Hillsboro, OR location.
The person in the position organizes and performs Machines–Engines Inventory/Population data cleanup and maintenance in DBS-OLGA-ED-CRM for all Peterson CAT locations (CA and OR). Responsible to review and perform monthly cleanup and update duties for all DBS-OLGA-ED-CRM (Dealer-Business Systems - Opportunity Lead Generation Analyzer – Equipment Data) specific system maintenance and reports. Responsible to update customers’ Machines-Engines population records as requested by Product Support Reps, Machines-Engines Salesman and Sales Managers and other Peterson CAT employees as defined by the Product Support Analytics & Program Manager

Works under the direction of the Product Support Analytics & Program Manager to perform duties in cleaning up and maintaining Customers’ Equipment Population records (Machines-Engines) with valid and accurate data.
Communicates on a daily/weekly basis, with Product Support Analytics & Program Manager to resolve issues or problems related to Machines and Engines Customers’ inventory-population record accuracy and updates; and on a monthly basis resolve issues and problems in relation to error and exception reports.
Prepare and create analysis/reports, presentations, graphs and other analysis reports on Equipment data; including CAT, non-CAT, T200 for customers and machines
Prepare and create analysis/reports, presentation, graphs and other analysis report on OLGA and COGNOS including; Opportunity, Sales, Lost Opportunities, POPS and POLS, and all related subjects found in OLGA web reports.
Updates guidelines and other reference material for DBS, ED (Equipment Data) and other systems manuals/guidelines
Works directly or indirectly, as defined by the Product Support Analytics & Program Manager with Product Supports Reps, Machines-Engines Salespeople and Sales Managers and other Peterson CAT employees to update customer’s machines-engines inventory/population records.

Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and at least two years of work experience with data analysis and inputs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with DBS, CAT Machines-Engines Equipment database and Tableau knowledge is strongly preferred.
