PARTS COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATES: $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

SITECH Chesapeake, the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil construction products and services, as well as Accugrade grade control products, is hiring Parts Counter Sales Associates in Chesapeake, Virginia. SITECH's territory covers the pan handle of West Virginia, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the shores of Delaware. The Parts Counter Sales Associates are responsible for front-line customer service, assisting with parts inquiries and processing parts orders in an inside, counter-sales environment.  These positions are responsible for front-line customer service, and for selling parts and supplies in an inside, counter-sales environment.  The Parts Counter Sales Associates will assist with walk-in, e-mail and telephone-based customer inquiries and purchases.  Additional responsibilities include assisting the local sales team to support customers’ sales and rental needs, and working with branch personnel to maintain showroom appearance and inventory.  Seeking candidates with prior sales or construction/survey equipment experience.  Must possess a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to understand/practice sales techniques.   

We are currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for Parts Counter Sales Associate new hires, payable after 90-days of employment.

Requirements for the Parts Counter Sales Associate positions include:

  • Self-starter able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build solid relationships.  Must possess a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Able to provide appropriate equipment applications, pricing and availability information; able to maximize efficiency of existing inventory.
  • Must possess good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Computer skills are required; able to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to tow and operate equipment for demonstration purposes.
  • Able to work overtime as required by job and customer demand.  

Physical requirements must be met for the Parts Counter Sales Associate jobs, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.  Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight.   This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.  Additional duties may be assigned.
