This opening is intended to be a Full time position.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain punctuality/attendance and accuracy/productivity requirements.
Receive and sort lubricant and fuel samples. Register and log samples into database.
Weigh and pour samples for use in autosamplers.
Operate in accordance with the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete determinations for sample testing, accurately record data, and complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Report instrument and safety issues to shift lead, supervisor, manager, safety department.
Perform set-up, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
Efficiently complete all assigned duties on time.
Advise team on material stock levels, safety concerns, waste levels, equipment health.
Actively seek and provide feedback from/to customers, sales representatives, fellow employees, shift lead, supervisors, and manager.
Actively participate in Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
Attend and apply company sponsored technical training classes to enhance technical skills on a regular basis.
Maintain performance measures in accordance with the department’s goals to support the strategic direction of the organization and the division.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment as necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of effective customer service techniques and excellent customer service skills.
Proficient basic computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company software.
Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.

High school diploma, G.E.D. or trade school or equivalent.
Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in the job function.
