Ziegler CAT has an opening for Dynamics 365 Release Manager to manage the standard updates of Dynamics 365. Responsible for organizing all D365 related releases. Standardize how we package roadmaps, test functionality, and provide release communications and training to the organization.
Organizing all D365 related releases. This could include standard releases or releases of new processes/functionality.
Ensuring the D365 Support and Training Team has the proper training to be able to support the organization as well as coordinating their training schedule.
Making sure those Ziegler employees involved with the day to day support of D365 have the training and communication needed to do their job effectively. Dotted line responsibility for the Support and Training Team
Putting together the testing plan for every release.
Getting the support resources involved and ensuring that they complete the testing plan as designed.
As required, creating the training plan for every release and rollout.
Coordinating roadmaps from the functional teams of what bugs are being fixed and what enhancements are coming across Dynamics team functional areas.
Oversight and organization over all XAPT support tickets and FRDs
Point person for the XAPT support managers.
Escalation point for Ziegler team members when tickets are not being responded to by XAPT.
Point person for the organizations training requests on D365
Creating yearly proactive training plans for groups like the Gold Shirts
Starting and creating Ziegler’s automated testing library and leveraging those tools into our processes.
Accountable for ensuring that all training guides and task guides are up to date.
Working with HR to create a standard way to onboard new employees.
4 year college degree preferred. High School Diploma, GED required.
1-3 years of experience working in heavy equipment industry
1-3 years of experience working with D365, preferably with NAXT
Experience working with cloud based software solutions.
Experience creating and executing training and testing plans
Experience working through releases of software updates and creating effective release communications for an organization.
Strong Communication skills required, both written and verbal. Need to be able to put complex technical scenarios in understandable terms
Experience creating plans and schedules used to accomplish a goal.
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, Outlook scheduling and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Microsoft LCS, Microsoft Automated Testing Library, and test case management a plus.
Strong knowledge of business process mapping
Experience building processes and frameworks through which repeatable processes can be executed.
