Rental Call Center Coordinator

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Rental Call Center Coordinator to join the growing Rental division. This is a fast paced customer service role for a motivated and hardworking individual to excel in supporting internal and external customers and become an expert on Ziegler Rental products and services. This position will manage the customer experience on our call center phone line, our Ziegler Rental website chat service and will work in tandem with the rest of the Rental team to provide exceptional customer service and solutions. This position will be responsible to help customers reach multiple areas of Ziegler’s business including Rental, Sales, Service, Parts and Technical Support. The Rental Call Center Coordinator will receive and respond to phone and internet requests from Ziegler employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by answering incoming customer telephone calls regarding Rental, Parts, Sales and Services and direct or escalate the requests to the appropriate team member(s)
  • Handle customer phone inquiries about Ziegler Rental equipment rates, availability, deliveries and returns
  • Handle customer website inquiries about Ziegler Rental equipment rates, availability, deliveries and returns
  • Enter call off dates for customer rental contracts and schedule transporting the equipment back to Ziegler
  • Manage finalizing equipment returns off of rental contracts, inventory status updates, invoicing customers for rental contracts.
  • Provide Rental Counter back up for customer walk in traffic and yard or shop enquiries
  • Develop product knowledge and resources on current and emerging rental equipment and applications
  • Assist the Rental Services team with various administrative duties such as, new product introduction, integration into Ziegler’s product portfolio, mail sorting and general filing
  • Generate awareness of customer frustrations that could lead to escalated resolution needs
  • Collaborate with other coordinators, outside and inside rental staff, dispatchers, and shops to ensure the accuracy and completion of paperwork and contractual agreements
  • Work in a cooperative manner with team members and superiors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year Technical or 4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills/experience required
  • Related industry knowledge preferred
