Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on equipment from small hand tools to large equipment by visual inspection and by the use of testing and diagnostic equipment. Repair equipment from small hand tools to large equipment. Assist in cost estimates of repairs needing done. Perform all needed PM and services as per maintenance schedule. Maintain cleanliness of shop. Adhere to contamination control standards and practices.
Assist customers in loading and unloading rental equipment. Generate work orders.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Be able to read and understand: parts books, service manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics, etc. Knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines.
EDUCATION/ FORMAL TRAINING/ LICENSING
Gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, fuel systems.
