Robotic Programmer Operator

This opening is intended to be a Full time position.
  • Create programs and program complex paths using TPP (teach pendant programming)
  • Troubleshoot programming
  • Install and back up programs
  • Setup interference zones
  • Improve cycle time and throughput by adjusting robot path or functions
  • Train operators on robotics usage
  • Properly document changes and updates
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and robotic components
  • Ability to perform electrical diagnosis, recommend repair or repair as needed
  • Complete corrective or preventative maintenance on robots in a timely manner
  • Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and performs all duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety standards
  • Train maintenance technicians on robotics daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
  • Component in-processing procedures using scheduling and tracking software
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts / cranes)
  • Maintain and utilize work areas, tools and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Fluent in robotic configuration (Fanuc M-710ic/70)
  • Certified and skilled in forklift operation.
  • Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software.
  • Effectively participates as part of team, leading and assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Applies technical knowledge through regular attendance at technical training classes.
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or trade school or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and communications skills.

  • Must be able to occasionally/frequently bend, squat and climb; including the ability to ascend and descend ladders.
  • Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
