SITECH Service Support Manager

The Role

The SITECH Technical Support Manager will manage the SITECH technical sales and support employees in actively seeking new customers and markets for product support opportunity.  This role will influence the sale of services for all applicable product lines.  

Job duties:

  • Expect and encourage high performance from the SITCH technical sales and service department by managing and developing the staff and departmental processes
  • Prepare and manage budgets; manage and monitor all expenses and approve/disapprove personnel’s and departmental expenses
  • Identify markets and needs for those markets
  • Maintain open communication with sales and support employees to maximize efficiency, communicating needs for sales transactions and changes in the markets served
  • Participate in and support the development of marketing plan and sales forecasts
  • Be proactive in understanding the needs of customers and maintaining quality customer relationships
  • Help resolve customer issues
  • Oversee and provide technical sales demonstrations as requested
  • Assist in maintenance of customer ownership database
  • Stay current on the market and the features and benefits of competing equipment, and customer trends
  • Oversee the provided localized training services for qualified customers and third party organizations with the intent to educate and expand the overall business related construction within the region

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Previous sales experience and strong sales aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service experience
  • Understands the fundamentals of Laser & GPS machine guidance systems, of topographical mapping and surveying, understanding grade and slope control, and automation set-up and troubleshooting
  • Extensive knowledge of SITECH products, typically gained through experience with a dealership or a SITECH equipment manufacturer very valuable
  • At least 3 years management experience required- with a proven track record of positive employee relations and staff development

What will put you ahead:

  • Associates degree in sales, business or a related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a member of a survey crew, or industry experience with guidance control systems
