Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for the rental industry? We are seeking an exceptional Rental Manager to provide overall leadership and direction for our rental business. As a Rental Manager, you will oversee the sales and operational aspects of your assigned Foley Rental location(s), ensuring a seamless and successful rental experience for our valued customers. If you have a proven track record of motivating teams, possess in-depth knowledge of the construction industry, and are skilled in managing profit and loss, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Manage the development, implementation and adherence of rental coordination, yard operations, transportation and Rental sales procedures and behaviors
- Direct the development, implementation and adherence of training plans including onboarding and continued education.
- Manage Rental Profit & Loss statement for assigned location, focusing on developing strategic sales opportunities, inventory needs and expense control to drive profitability.
- Drive customer satisfaction and increased customer loyalty through proactive communications and follow up with customers to identify their needs and diligently work to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly.
- Work with the Fleet Service Coordinator to ensure proper support of Rental equipment.
- Manage Rental Sales Representative performance on the following: rep behaviors, attitude, technique, territory and opportunity coverage, profitability, sales volume, account coverage, new account generation, CRM use, overall performance, etc.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Two to four years prior sales, operations, and/or management experience
- Experience in inventory control, forecasting, ordering, and terms management.
- Demonstrated ability to positively motivate and manage others, creating a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment rental practices and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in profit and loss analysis, financial statements, budgeting, and other financial aspects of the business.
- Exceptional customer relations and communication skills, ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction.
- Ability to drive and valid driver’s license required.

- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Previous experience in equipment or rental sales
- Prior experience in sales management
