Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Caterpillar construction equipment and related services.
- Manage your territory effectively through strategic planning and execution.
- Build strong customer relationships by demonstrating product knowledge and business insight.
- Negotiate deals that align with both customer needs and company goals.
- Maintain accurate records in Sales Link, including leads, opportunities, and account activities.
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotes, contracts, financial documents, and delivery records.
- Collaborate with factory representatives to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Apply professional sales techniques to overcome objections and highlight product features and benefits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction equipment industry required, experience with Caterpillar equipment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Strong sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and CRM tools.
- Self-starter with high energy and the ability to learn technical materials quickly.
- Skilled in negotiation and relationship management.
