Inside Sales & Equipment Rental Rep

Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with equipment rentals and sales by identifying needs and recommending solutions
- Process daily rental transactions including reservations, contracts, invoicing, and payment collection
- Answer incoming calls, texts, chats, online leads, and assist walk‑in customers
- Upsell equipment and services when appropriate and follow up on unsigned contracts
- Open new customer accounts and assist with lead development
- Maintain a clean, professional showroom and work environment
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure equipment deliveries are completed on time
- Support outside sales, operations, and other branch departments
- Work toward meeting and exceeding branch and company sales and rental goals
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or college coursework a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in construction, heavy equipment, or a related industry preferred
- Mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment applications
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and web‑based computer systems
- Familiarity with the local service area is a plus
- Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
