Coordinator - Inside Sales Heavy Equip Rental
Description
Objective
Position serves as primary coordinator of equipment rentals and sales; handling phone in and walk in customers while maintaining customer records. Creates and delivers rental invoices and agreements; assists stakeholders in the processing, scheduling and coordination of rental orders and invoices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer base, assisting all call-in and walk in customers quickly and efficiently. Provide phone coverage for equipment rentals, sales, transportation and services.
- Set up and maintain machine and customer history and procedure billings in computer system.
- Create, review, quote and maintain all rental invoices and agreements with accuracy and timeliness; ensure all necessary details are provided and agreement terms are clear to both customer and company.
- Assists outside sales representatives, customers and fleet management in the processing of rental orders; scheduling and coordinating fleet resources in cooperation with sales and service departments to meet customer expectations.
- Develops high output rental and sales of machinery.
- Conveys the highest quality customer service to all buyers and clients.
- Works with other sales coordinators, branch managers, dispatchers and shops to ensure the completeness of all paperwork and contractual agreements.
- Maintains a safety conscious work environment both inside and outside of the store.
- Coordinates with credit department on customer credit worthiness and account collections.
- Accurately maintains all equipment and attachment inventories.
Qualifications
- High School education required, college degree preferred.
- 2-3 years rental industry or sales experience.
- Excellent planning and problem solving expertise.
- Highly motivated with excellent self management capabilities.
- Strong customer service skills and a thorough understanding of Price, Quality and Turnaround principles
