Parts Operations Support Manager
- Work with operation managers with the planning, directing and managing of the performance of the parts department to maintain and develop business growth in accordance with the overall strategy.
- Create, with management, a yearly plan of objectives and goals for department, and other business plans.
- Develop and utilize reports and dashboards to track parts department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the parts department through process and system improvements as well as coordination and communications between functions.
- Lead the implementation of process and system improvements across the parts department.
- Manage freight provider metrics and monitor contract performance.
- Communicate with the parts department on operational improvements, areas of focus, and sales growth to ensure effective and efficient performance.
- Extract and analyze information to improve organizational performance, sales, and customer satisfaction and provide recommendations to parts business leaders.
- Use various databases and reports of customer, operational, and logistical information to provide relevant, meaningful information to various areas of the business.
- Set clear expectations for employees, coach and provide feedback, and proactively develop employees; working with them in a manner that maintains a high level of morale and positive working culture.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, 5+ years of prior experience in a related field, and/or combination of both.
- Experience in parts and supply chain / inventory management and related systems.
- Previous management experience with a proven track record of positive employee relations and staff development.
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Excel and Access Database.
- Ability to create complex reports, and read, analyze, and interpret business data points.
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
