Reporting to the Communications & Digital Content Lead, the Senior Digital Content Specialist will join our team on a fulltime basis and is responsible for leading and delivering WesTrac’s digital content strategy across social media, newsletters, SEO, and website content.

The role works closely with CX and Marketing teams to ensure content aligns with broader business objectives and provides expert digital content advice.

Location – Based in South Guildford (WA) or Tomago (NSW)

Roster – Monday – Friday Days, 8.5 Hrs (Including unpaid meal break)

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of WesTrac’s digital content, social media and SEO strategies, ensuring content remains relevant, effective and aligned to business goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end content pipeline, including briefing, prioritisation, planning, creation and publishing across social, web, newsletter and other owned channels.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused content by sourcing stories across the business and adapting content for social media, articles, campaigns, video, photography and web platforms.
  • Oversee WesTrac and FlexiParts digital channels, including social media management, community engagement, scheduling, publishing and website content updates.
  • Partner with Marketing, CX teams, stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality content that supports brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation objectives.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on content and channel performance using Google Analytics and other data sources, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Champion the WesTrac and Caterpillar brands by leading brand advocacy initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagement and ensuring consistent brand experiences across all digital touchpoints

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media & Communications, Digital Media or a related discipline, with equivalent industry experience spanning 5-10 years.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Sprout Social, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics and the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience managing websites, social media and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong capabilities in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro), including graphic design, photo editing, video editing and multimedia content production.
  • Sound understanding of SEO, content optimisation, channel performance reporting and using data-driven insights to improve engagement, lead generation and business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams and agencies.
